Experimenting with mixed media and techniques infuses new wonder into the process of creation. Printmaking fascinates me, with its endless possibilities for producing organic forms and textures, and the suspense of pulling a print. Like unwrapping a present, I never know exactly what will be unveiled until the moment it pulls free of the plate. Phototransfer also tends to have surprises in store once the paper is removed. Over the years, I've worked with encaustic wax, silk screening, Lino block, and collage among other things.
